Clarification About Work + Temp Residence Permits

TWIMC:

I am planning on working and living in Lithuania in Spring 2012. I understand that I need a work permit, and am starting the procedure now. My question is whether I need to have a temporary residence permit? If so, should I get it before or after my work permit? In either of those cases, how long does it usually take? i understand a WP may take up to 2 months--I have about 4 months left--so I need to know, if I also need to apply for a TRP, do I need it before entering Lithuania, and how long will that process also take?

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
